It's used for Zombie Vampire to access engine without using the normal summon. Millennium also shits all over Purulia, none of the chummys get draws off it until Zombie Vampire comes out.
It works especially well with Snake-Eyes because Snake-Eyes needs to pitch face-up cards to activate effects, and milennium leaves you with a lot of fodder

Animating Sky Strikers was a fucking mistake from the start. If they just started with Abyss lore to begin with people wouldn't have been immediately put off by the boring "lore" of the Skystrikers. I don't know what resonated with you in terms of gameplay, because BB have always been shit, from the first released cards to the latest wave of support. Striker is interesting but Konami forgot that Nanoha actually ended with Fate marrying Nanoha and raising a child, Vivio.
Nanoha was a spinoff of a hentai game so it always could veer into adult themes, can't really do that with Striker

I don't think the deck will actually fall to Tier 2 until Konami bans Divine Temple. Despite what others say Divine Temple is almost as broken as OSS, since you can run multiple Flamberge now and just place them with Wedju Temple or Divine Temple.

To begin, you should buy the staple packs that cost 700 gems and the season pass (another 700 gems).
Now talking about decks specifically, I'll give you the non-retarded answer. Buy 3 Dragon Maid structure decks (this should run you 1500 gems and carry you all the way to gold) and HOARD every other gem you get from solo mode and rank. When you're a new player you get an insane amount of gems. Currently, we don't have good selection packs available, but a few really busted decks are on the horizon.
If you wanna improve the deck put every staple card you bought, look up meta versions of your deck and craft some cards that seem useful (mainly N, R and SRs). Also, if you have friends who are on the verge of installing the game, there is a campaign rn where you can get a Branded structure deck if they use your referral code, so do that (you can even combine Dragon Maids and Branded because both are fusion dragon decks).
Ask more questions in these threads if you have any (it's unironically the best place to get MD knowledge)

Yes with Geonator Transverser: the monsters dont have to be face up for the effect. I seen some using Guard Dog or Sonic Jammer and if the fail the Marker 50/50 you link into Geonator, exchange the monsters and flip them with Master in your opponent's turn.

The fact that players can't see that Maxx "C" improves the game especially for the going-second player, and it's the other handtraps that make the experience worse for the going-second player since the first player can draw into them via Maxx "C", proves how retarded yugioh players are.

It's not just about handtraps, at the end of the day it's deck strength. It used to be that decks compromised engine or consistency cards to run handtraps. If you wanted your deck to function you had to run starters, extenders and grease.
If you ran no other handtraps other than roach, just gas and grease you could break any board provided it didn't also end on floodgates.
Newer decks like Snake-Eyes are so efficient with their engine, every starter is an extender, it can afford to run 20 handtraps without losing consistency as long as you see 1 name.
Outside of retarded cards like Ash, handtraps are some of the weakest form of interaction possible. But again, decks are so strong it's better to run weak cards you can use at any time rather than stronger, situational ones that might not work if the opponent sets up.
