The problem with hiring a team after he's already released the start of the game is Toby can't have the art get too much better or else it'll look mismatched with the first two chapters. He has to settle for subtler improvements, like slightly better backgrounds and Kris actually having animations instead of a single static sprite

Funny thing is, he got the new team to make a proper sprinting sprite, it's just cutscene-exclusive. Now Kris's "run" is actually a power-walk. I do appreciate that he has better animations aside from that, though, like the better sliding animation (hopefully Toby goes back and replaces the slide from the first two chapters with the new one). You can do pacifist for everything up until the end, it just makes you see the neutral ending first. Then you can go back, do the extra stuff, and get the pacifist ending without replaying the whole game.
Basically it lets you get all three endings by just going pacifist->genocide or vice versa.

This is going to run into the same problem Homestuck did. Too many variables to wrap up in an satisfying way at the end, AND there are too many cooks in the kitchen. Undertale was simple, but it was cohesive because it was mostly run by one dude. Now the credits are significantly longer.

I wouldn't mind Deltarune threads getting nuked if the mods were consistent about their rules for banishment. Sometimes new games will have a daily threads up for a year straight and discussion stops naturally other times new releases are instantly deleted on sight for no apparent reason. It's bullshit.

I've sort of accepted them although I still question why the fuck /vmg/ was made if they're /vg/ territory?? and stopped being bothered by them after they updated page 10 to allow for an insane amount of threads.
I wish they'd have communicated more about it, but I assumed most people would've caught on that somehow threads that don't get replies for 6+ hours don't get 404'd.
As always, everything bad is caused by the lack of transparency and documentation by the eternal jannoid.
