No way man, you don't get it. Her voice was so soothing. Delivery was nice and methodical. It added to her role in the game as a calming presence, somebody who Harry could trust to help him get through the nightmare of the town since she knew a lot about the place. And also her voice made Lisa somebody you want to protect. Lisa scenes in SH1 are almost therapeutic especially after running around the Other World version of the town aimlessly getting chased by the horrible and very strong monsters.

And all of that culminates in her complete meltdown in her last scene. It wouldn't have the same impact with a different voice actor or portrayal. If they even show a single hint of Lisa "not being right" in the remake in one of her early cutscenes, then she will be worse than the original version. The character in SH1 is perfect in every way

He is a great character, I like him a lot. When I played SH1 for the first time I didn't really care for him. But by the end of my first playthrough of SH3 my whole view of him was totally changed. I like that all of those details about his character are lowkey, I think it suits him because I imagine he is quite a private and inward-focused guy, mostly interested in just doing a good job raising his daughter but keeps things to himself.
