I am white. I like beans. I eat them often. Baked beans are honestly pretty low on the beans tierlist. Black beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, refried beans, and even their cousin in the lentils are just better. It is more about the fact that British people put baked beans on every food item imaginable. Lots of people in the US eat beans, but they're generally on the side and don't go with every dish. British people eat beans like they're the last food source on earth.
