For anyone playing this game for the first time. With as little spoilers as possible I will save you a lot of time. Do NOT fuck with the rocket ship until AFTER you fuck with a phonebooth and got the demon Alice. Else it is basically a missable. Not really that important though until King Abaddon assuming they will have a save transfer bonus feature like the PS2 games did. If you missed Alice it isn't the end of the world but is basically a full replay of the game just for Alice and Raiho. If it anything like the original you will be buying healing items and bullets nonstop and there will be a lot of pausing while fighting.

I always loved megaten, have played most games in the series, Raidou is one of the games Im missing, and I like the setting, but its 50 usd for a remaster of a mid game (at least they fixed the combat but they fucked up the aesthetics). On the other hand, DS2 is releasing next week

the raidou threads these past months make me realize half of /v/ is schizo now because they clearly didn't play the game based on most of the takes. the original raidou titles weren't perfect by any means, they were enjoyable side-tracks but they weren't really fully fleshed out titles like strange journey. i haven't played this remaster myself but look forward to it since it does seem to improve on the combat and makes it less of a hassle than the original. hopefully they can remaster DDS.
