I have no idea what they were going for with the villains in Xenoblade 3. Were they trying to do some sort of metaphor or something like that? The only character in the entire game with depth is N who should’t even be counted as a good character because he’s a Grahf ripoff

I enjoyed the majority of my time with the game but lacks any poignant or truly memorable characters. Like dude, why am I rooting for fucking Lanz?
