Dune Awakening. Not my usual type of game, but a friend wanted to play it together. Honestly they did a great job with the music and the atmosphere, though I wish the combat and the dungeons were better. I really like the story, but Innocent Sin's gameplay is fucking rough. Other than a handful of massive difficulty spikes (which come entirely out of giving enemies the ability to insta-kill party members), the game is pathetically easy to the point of combat being outright miserable at times. I'm generally insistent on not using emulator tricks to mess with a game when I'm playing it, but this is one of those games that I really couldn't blame anyone for hitting fast-forward on at points. At least it's better than the PSP version. Luckily, most people agree that Eternal Punishment has far better gameplay. Can't vouch for that yet, though.

Pretty good. Met a girl at the university gym who I've been talking to for a little over 2 weeks now. It's pretty obvious she likes me, and I like her, but I have some apprehension with her being an incoming college freshman who just recently turned 18 while I'm 22 and starting grad school. I know a 4 year age gap really isn't that big of a deal and she's a legal adult, but it's still by far the widest age gap I've ever experienced. Not my problem to be honest. When I say "my house" it's actually my dad's, but I'm staying there most of the day everyday to take care of his elderly dog and whatever other house jobs/maintenance need to be done, especially now during storm season, since he decided on an impulse to live abroad with his fiancee for her foreign work detail since 2023 (he's only home for a few weeklong or two-weeklong spurts a year). Hopefully you're playing the DS version but Final Remix is just as well.
Try out as many pins as you can, they all have different attacks and can combo into each other. Additionally, they can "evolve" if you hit certain conditions as you level them up - highly recommend looking those up because some conditions are a pain.
Otherwise just enjoy the ride. That and NEO are two of my favorite games of all time, just incredible in every way.

I still want stuff out of life. It's an illness and problems with neurotransmitters, problem is medication at best doesn't help, or makes it worse, or gives me unbearable side effects. Worst was restless legs that didn't go away for weeks after stopping. Like constantly bouncing my knees, tensing my calves, rotating my ankles all hours of the day. Shit kept me up for days at a time and felt like the day after leg day every single day. It's funny because I'm a doctor and don't really believe in anti-depressants for most patients that are on them, in the same way we don't need to pump a 6-year-old boy who won't sit still and stop talking in 1st grade full of Adderall. Luckily I'm specialized and don't see patients for depression or prescribe any of them.

A Super Robot Wars game that's actually challenging again and primarily focuses on early UC (primarily One Year War) and settings with a similar tech level, where beam weapons on a non-super robot are still a novel concept. Get stuff like VOTOMS in there, maybe L-Gaim or Layzner villains can be the "main" baddies for a while after Zeon since their weaponry would be advanced by OYW standards. I'd take just the challenge at this point, though. I miss when you had to actually use terrain to your advantage and such.

Yeah. They'll be playing TF2 in about an hour.

However, the server has lost a lot of charm and soul over the past year or 2. Lots of fun maps have disappeared. There are now custom player models that ruins the flow of the game and are forced af. There is nonstop fagmin drama.
