GOG was out of the question entirely in this thread, but even if we include it what does it change? if you are buying the latest AAA game there's like a 99,9% chance you are going to Steam and if it has Denuvo we are back to square one since piracy is not possible until DRM is either removed or broken, so if we assume that you actually purchase a legitimate copy of the game with digital you don't own anything but a loicense as opposed to physical, physical is clearly better
