No, it needs to be remade in 3D with all the cut content of the N64 version. GBA version is like a sparksnotes summary with everything interesting cut out. I want the choreographed cutscenes, higher quality music, lost chapters, more elaborate battle system, environmental interactions, 60 hour long experience vs the 12 hour long game, overworld physics and interactions (you could jump, tackle NPCs, etc).
GBA version of Mother 3 was the worst possible outcome, and I'm tired of fans that defend it vehemently. For a board that cries about demakes incessantly, it's the premier example. We still haven't gotten the true Mother 3. Bribe Itoi with millions of dollars, get a studio that's verses in 3D RPGs, then boom.

All we got were videos of early builds of the game, equivalent to looking at prototype OOT or Mario 64 footage. Everything else sounds like it would have been better, and imo - chunky N64 graphics are better than superficial attempts to copy Earthbound, thus sucking out all drama from important cutscenes with these dead looking, blank ass sprites.
It should have moved to GC instead of GBA.
