One is turn based and is clear about it, the other is turn based and pretends to not be. You seriously think those sock puppet enemies he's fighting in Spiderman are doing anything he has to twitch dodge? Even bosses you just step back on their one mega wind-up move then go back to taking your turn.
The modern 3d action cuckery brought on by Rocksteady annoys me.

All I see is someone pressing a button to have their character do a command for five seconds in both games, this coon is getting mad because the game with Miles Morales that was just a copy of the first game didn't win as many awards as the first

Both of these games are actual video games though, Baldurs Gate 3 has moments of actual strategic gameplay, with role playing options, and Spider-Man 2 has decent 3d beatemup bamham style gameplay that is about building combos, not any less of a game then many of the classic Spider-man games.
>Disney-Marvel investing the GDP of a small country into this cinematic product sold alongside Sony's blu-ray player
vs. >a small studio that adapts tabletop RPGs

Not gonna lie, I want to play Spider Man even less after this. I didn't realize it was such a fucking movie game. I think he pressed maybe 7 buttons between all those QTEs and cutscenes.

I'm sorry to say, anon, but they confirmed that the Tactics remake is the worst version to come out. With zero changes and all of previously added content cut, you can play literally any edition of it and have a superior experience.

This is a teenager mindset, nothing wrong with relaxing to simple stories that remind you of childhood, it's just embarrassing if you are a 40 year old man who has never even read a synopsis of Crime and Punishment but has read stacks of media made for children only, because they have never developed into caring about anything a child wouldn't care about.

And so will the enemies in an RPG. Throw in all the environment and spell interactions, and you can fuck yourself up as well. Beating shit up in an action game might look flashy, but there's usually not any depth to it past chaining invincible canned animations while minimizing getting hit.

Air combos. Now, how he can slide under the guy in the air? Or how does he can jump from the guy without kicking him into the ground? No clues.
They really shouldn't have released bg3 on anything that couldn't have mouse support, its criminal that sony/xbox lets you play those games on controllers, I went through Dos2 on mouse and controller and it was so so much worse

Matsuno didn't make War of the Lions, and he is involved in making this, if this is a Matsuno Director's Cut modern version of his game it would make for a kino playthrough. Wish he would do something with Vagrant Story next.

But DMC3 have only a few of those. You get hit mid attack, you are fucked. Hell, I think the only things with a i-frames are the start of a jump and the side roll. I don't remember any attacks having an i-frames, not even aerial attacks are safe from those angels assholes or projectiles.
>push X as spiderman and watch some epic animation >anons seethe >Click your "gay vampire attack" key and then click on your target in baldurs gate and watch an epic animation >anons don't seethe

baldurβs gate >strategically assesses the best approach for that particular encounter >things donβt go quite as planned; immediate reassessment required >starting to get the upper hand >see all of the time Iβve invested into building up these characters pay off before my very eyes
spider-man >press button >10 second animation >press another button >6 second animation >press another button >win
>>713262979 >bunch of movie cutscenes in an active combat game
This isnt the own this guy thinks it is, all it does is show that American game devs think that impeding a players flow with slow dramatic cutscenes inbetween combat is a good thing.
