In past someone who was into pop didn't dress as goth for popularity for example. Now you dress into different things for views/likes/clicks/whatever. It's like everyone is low-effort cosplaying and nobody has their own taste. It honestly started in vidya with the buzzcut/short brown hair military/action man mc's and has just devolved into the action woman with tanktop and jeans/brown pants.
