I'm gonna be completely honest, I lost all willpower to play this game when they removed throwing Palspheres to summon pals. It's such an innocuous change on the surface, but it just kills my enjoyment to not be able to throw a ball and say "I choose you" like Ash from the Pokemon anime, nevermind the loss of the strategic element of being able to summon your pal at a distance or in the middle of a group.

7.Open up the Project Sugar Cake compress file, open up the STEAM folder, and drop the Logicmods and ~mods folder into the Paks Folder
8.Drop in any animation or model pack. Be sure to read their readme/instruction where to drop them
9.Go to the Palworld\Pal\Content\Paks\~mods\AnimJSON and double click __Create_Load_List__ batch file
10.Log into your game and check if its activiated
11.Bring in the Pals you wanna with into your party/summon them somewhere that they wont run off
12.Now lets get familar with the UIpalui

Think of Tango Down 4 Fun as a trigger. You press the Tango Down 4 Fun button on a pal you want to fuck, and it has a timer. When you're about to defeat a pal while the timer is up, it will play the animation IF that pal has an sex animation.

It never got worse. What happened was that the game would show you increased rates of capture on the UI as if it was progressing normally with each squirrel shrine upgrade, but you would never actually go above the base capture in reality. I don't know about Raids or the new islands, but the capture rate was perfectly fine for everything up to Legendary Pals in the basegame.
