I read Nekopara After.
It kind of sucks.

Shigure confesses to Kashou, and he's just like "oh, I didn't know you felt that way. on to the bed we go"
I'd expected there to be a bit more thought put in to if Kashou actually wants to go there with his little sister at all.
I was kind of hoping that she would be getting over her feelings for Kashou by the end, and get a catpanion of her own in Fraise. It even seemed like that's where they were going for a while.
It almost feels like Fraise only wants to join the harem because she thinks that's what she needs to do to be in the family, not because she feels any sort of lust for Kashou.
And that ending where Shigure decides to pretend to be a catgirl from now on is just kind of pathetic. I don't know what that was even going for, but it just feels wrong.

It isn't meant to be like the main games, this is a non-canon side-game purely made to give Shigure a route at all, and if this was canon it would really suck because that means Shigure would be unhappy every other ending. At least the H scenes were decent, first scene with Shigure especially was good. I'm glad the artist went all-out on her self-insert anyway.

Not sure what being canon or non-canon means when the series is seemingly over. I don't expect an actual volume 5 given how long it took this to come out, and the general feel of it.
It's pretty obvious that she was setting up for a proper volume 5 with the ending of 4. Maybe the author just got too distracted with other projects, and decided to leave well enough alone until the demand got too high.
