Renoir was not right, yes the people in lumiere deserved to go extinct but that is because they were Aline's rapefugees that didn't belong in Verso's original canvas, the good ending would be wiping the people of lumiere out but letting the canvas exist with the gestrals remaining in it.

Then Aline would just do it all over again.
And Verso's soul wanted out, he simply wasn't sure if he was allowed to end it all (because he has the mindset of a kid)

It's an echo of Verso. Barely sentient.

Yet it can perfectly communicate what it wants and how it feels.
It's also gears keeping the canvas going so if it wants to stop, they should respect that (Alicia doesn't despite saying that Renoir shouldn't erase the canvas because verso wouldn't have wanted that, the bitch).

Clair Obscur has a better gameplay-to-dialogues ratio than most action games. But alright, I'll let you prove that you played it and that's your actual opinion based on facts, before dismissing your post.

Going through NG+, cleaning out the huge map and killing whatever I didn't in my first play through
Going through the story again was bittersweet. I still side with Verso, his ending is for the best
That being said how fast does the time go by compared to the real world? Francois mentioned Clea visits him every couple centuries, so he misses her
God this game is fantastic

Not what I meant. I like having a little extra to do when attacking. My gripe is like 90% of the attacks is just PRESS X TWICE. I was expecting it to be like Paper Mario where different attacks would require things like using the analog stick or holding buttons/doing a random sequence.
