I mean I'm sure these games are rather low budget can't imagine it being high since they're not movie slop. Except for Yakuza which has a ton of cutscenes but those games are like 90% asset reuse

SMT V is the least cashgrab thing on there though
it's the opposite of a cashgrab, they could've named it "Persona 6" and left the game mostly the same but with dating sim mechanics tacked on, and it'd have sold double

So the total sales might be around the same. I doubt many people bought SMT V then also bought SMT VV
Metaphor might have this phenomenon going on too, if I were interested in buying it I sure as shit wouldn't be buying the first release.
