I can't speak on Sparking, but Budokai/RagingBlast/Xenoverse 3-D flying, transformations and actual use of 3D to sell the spectacle of DBZ are more of note. FighterZ is great, it has the roster, it has the aesthetics for sure, but I'd rather sweat with Brazilian mods against Latins on Budokai.

Well CSM is also on the crass side of writing, it's somewhat like No More Heroes. Enough waifu and shitposting material vs. a straightforward series you could finish in an weekend. But, I agree with that.

HxH is getting a 3v3 tag game from the team that worked on TvC & Marvel 3 (albeit with way less of a budget) literally next month. JoJo already has two great fighting games that have immense love for the source material in Heritage for the Future and ASBR. Naruto got tons of fighting games during its heyday and some of them still have dedicated playerbases (Bleach too minus having people still playing them since they were mostly on handhelds). Berserk & Demon Slayer are probably better suited to single-player action games. Pretty much just leaves One Piece and Hero Academia, but Marvel Tokon is so similar to the latter that people think Horikoshi is involved with that game so fuck it, give it to Zatch Bell.

Logically, YuYu is the closest to DBZ in that it's Martial Arts, but still, I'd prefer a different take on the 2D fighter for YuYu. DBFZ should be exclusive to DBZ imo. And on that note, YuYu already has tons of really good 2D fighters anyway.

Plus, many characters have very few moves, and some powers are downright broken or impossible to translate into a balanced game, meaning a multiplayer game is out of the question. I think with Bleach, what you want is a single player action game more akin to DMC or something, where you have ridiculous boss fights and really crazy moves and combos.

Only a series with enough interesting characters that people care about. If you have to add in like a dozen versions of the same character or reach for literal whos then it's not the best choice.

I assume by Fighterz treatment you just mean a fighting game by ArcSys. If so, it's obviously One Piece. They've already made a One Piece game before and One Piece is basically the new Dragon Ball. Naruto and Bleach fell off, only girls like zoomer shounen, JJBA is too much for them to handle and Hunter x Hunter is kind of a cult series compared to the others.

But I don't think Arc wants to do One Piece. Dragon Ball FighterZ was such an easy game to make because Dragon Ball has one of the most boring power systems, everyone does the exact same shit, and like 20 characters that matter across the entire series. You can just copy-paste Goku a couple dozen times and then make the Buus and Ginyu and you're done. So fucking easy. One Piece is the complete opposite. It has like a hundred characters people would want and they're all vastly different from each other, with unique powers and some of them are over 20 fucking feet tall. You're not getting a real developer like Arc to make a game like that.

So if we're going by what's feasible, we need a small cast and a boring power system. I haven't read Demon Slayer, but I'm going to guess from what I do know that this describes it, right?

It's One Piece and its not even close, One Piece is the 6th highest grossing anime/manga franchise. None of those other series come close. For reference the next highest one of those there is Naruto and One Piece has made around 2x as much money as Naruto.
One Piece is also currently on going with both its anime and manga unlike many of those series which have long ended or are so slow to come out or don't even have an anime.
So its by far the most culturally relevant and financially it makes the most sense.
Hell most of those series peaked in popularity years ago, some decades.
