New games are objectively better than old ones. There is nothing that Ocarina of Time does that Skyrim doesn't do better. Exploration, combat, story, atmosphere. I don't know why this is so controversial. technology and software always improves.

It's unfair to compare nintendo kiddy shit to an adult game. Come on man. Compare OOT to TOTK. OOT is a more focused and coherent experience. Everything is intentional and has purpose. TOTK on the other hand is designed to be a plug and play sandbox. To me OOT is clearly better. But even if we talk about sandbox games, which 9/10 modern games devolved into, the king of sandbox games (GTA SA) was a gen6 game.
