i have nearly 200 hours in this, but only 30 in the second, blows my mind how they couldn't even copy paste the physics/hit reactions from the first game, even with multiple updates to "fix" it they failed. yet somehow DL3 looks like it has DL1 physics, makes no sense. did they just DEI hire the team for DL2 and then completely restructure afterwards?

Agreed. I don't know what it is about dl2 but I tried playing it and completely lost interest once you get to the other part of the city. Started a new playthrough a couple years later and lost interest again at about the same point. I don't even know what it is I don't like about it.
