Gameplay and level design wasn't nearly as good as in Blood, they changed gender of one of Caleb's companions for absolutely no reason, playing campaign with other Chosen was pointless, cause story was still from Caleb's point of view and ending wasn't really good. At least that's how I remember it.

I don't think blood 2 did anything particularly well. Maybe some of the music. It's so much worse than the original
