I've gotten several ear infections due to headphones and they seem to be happening more often as i get older, i've had to switch to bone conduction earphones and not using earplugs with them if i want to use headphones at all because of this. I don't know if the plus models fixed it, but I have the older T1Es and the Amp failed in them after 4 years which is apparently a common issue for them and the T0s... Only option was to buy a replacement amp for like 100$ from them.
