>NG+ >middle difficulty >zombies die about as fast as they do in the base game on the highest difficulty >monkeys don't two-shot me >have to learn the boss patterns but beat them in 5 or so attempts usually
Absolutely perfect. I loved it

They did 2 days ago, I couldn't tell the difference. But some people said monsters do less damage but have bloated health pools now
Either way, bosses are unaffected according to the patch notes
>try to roll spam >game is hard >use the guard button >game is fair >time your guards for perfect parries >game is too easy
Interesting. Very interesting.
I finally got around to playing this game a couple months ago so I didn't the game at it's initial difficulty so I am only referring to the pre DLC build of the game, but do people just not use the Aegis? The level 2 upgrade to block and poke his completely unbalanced and the game was not built with it in mind. That combined with that insane Glaive they added in as a starting weapon and you can just block and command dodge with the glaives 1 bar skill and never really need to use the other combat mechanics.
Just in general do people play this game and ignore all the throwables and consumables or just not use their grindstones? The game gives you so many tools and options, in the handful of sections/bosses that did give me a hard time it never felt like I was walled. I tried new things, tried different buffs, different weapons, threw some items. Did people really play through this game just bashing their heads against hard bosses and ignore 75 percent of the games combat options?
Hey
The current working title is Cries of P. Dorothy isn't the playable character, nor is P (the one we've come to know), but both will be present in some form. The P in the title refers to something else. The game takes place in a location with the name Glimgrist, and primarily takes place both before and during the events of Lies of P's base game, following several characters who eventually end up in Krat. The game will be structured as a "Sidequel" that transitions into a Sequel in the third act.The post-credits scene showcasing Dorothy occurs during this transition point between Acts 2 and 3. The weapon breaking system is planned to be expanded on, as well as the inclusion of part breaking/dismemberment of certain enemy types to allow for a wider range of enemy model interactions.

Apparently yes, because despite making obviously unbalanced items/equipment available, devs still caved into shitters' demands and added difficultly options
>Got all the items, dialogue and piano in hotel >Respecced organ and level >Got Geppetto's monocle >Went back to the chapel cablecar to kill the Atoned (I know you can do it earlier but I always forget), Rosa for the Test Subject vendor and friendship tree for Rosaura
Anything else before starting NG+ that I'm forgetting >>713350618 >The P in the title refers to something else
I read that in korean it's a wordplay and the other meaning is "Lies of Blood", so maybe they're branding the franchise around that

Sounds like a skill issue, buddy. I beat the entire game using nothing but dash attacks and charge attacks on this bad boy. One-shots every creep, extremely high stagger considering its speed, and more than enough range. It's probably not even the best weapon combo, it's just the one I had the most fun with.
>>713351514 >I read that in korean it's a wordplay and the other meaning is "Lies of Blood", so maybe they're branding the franchise around that
I'm fine with them doing Korean word plays as long as they don't call something the P Organ again
that final boss in the DLC is a meme, your game is average, at best, do you really expect me to play that shitty fight over and over to learn all of his moves, piss off,
still not summoning or lowering the difficulty, shit boss design is still shit boss design, but muah we're trying to to compete with Fag Radahn, go fuck yourself
pirated it, played 20mins and deinstalled
janky as fuck, not very pretty or fun to play
enemy design is bland, levels are tubes, artstyle and stories are forgettable
>>713355054
call it what you like fagface, it is a helper that distract the boss so you can have your cheap shots and you just outed yourself, welcome to YOU didn't beat the game shithead,
if it's not 1v1 it's a summon faggot

I think Dorothy (and the rest of her group) are going to be prominent characters that you interact with frequently and follow the stories of, like the followers of Miquella in Shadow of the Erdtree. They'll probably all be companions to bring into battle if I had to guess. I think having Alidoro and Lea in Overture as well designed companions was sort of a testing ground for that concept.

Does Wizard of Oz have anything to do with puppets though? It won't even take place in Krat until the end, so we won't even see puppets until then.
>>713356971
oh no, anon 713356971 need my dick pics to prove shit, lol
final boss in the DLC sucked, not a single memorable boss was added, story skippable, gunblade was cool, level design was cancer I'm looking at you frozen piss lake with a cannon and your semen "obstacle" enemy, main game was meh, your jank shit game sucked, DLC was awful deal with it

Tin Man is kind of a puppet. Bit of a stretch, but it's there. Puppet tech seems to be centered around Krat because of the whole Ergo thing, but just like how the Petrification Disease existed even outside of Krat, there could be some dabbling in puppet tech in wherever D is coming from.
>>713359029
ohhh noooo cartmen-level defense, the state of zoom zoom assuming everyone is a fag who watch other fags, stay in denial, you're worse than fromdrones
>>713358672
I think it's less about puppets and more about ways of achieving immortality
Paracelsus probably did some alchemy shit or has a philosopher's stone or something in addition to all the gold fruits he has now
Lies of P has a lot of different people trying to achieve immortality or trying to overcome death in different ways
A wizard of oz game with Dorothy could have some wish granting item that would give immortality or some other magic bullshit
I think the reason a lot of people like souls games is that it offers a pure enough experience of game play in a cool enough package to make it satisfying. No more going through dozens of fetch quests or listening to hours of cutscenes. A few item descriptions, a "Zanzibart, forgive me" line thrown away by the boss, and you believe (the belief is import) you're playing an epic adventure. The rest (99%) is pure gameplay.
Get a trainer and balance the game to make it fun, more difficult or easier the point is to have fun. I play with the attack and defense until I find a challenge.
I play games to have fun and a challenge not to repeat the same boss 100 times until I memorize the pattern like an autist.

Maluca on NG++ with no spirit summons and heavy armor is actual suffering. That delayed swing into the lunging grab she chains like five times back to back? Bro I swear she reads your inputs. Literally had to re-spec into full dex just to iframe through the entire second phase. Still have PTSD from that arena’s screaming wind FX loop.
