food is plentiful even if it doesn't seem so at first
spending time in your apartment can present some other opportunities
you don't have to kill everything
keep multiple save files
figure out the combination for herbicide and never go to 0 herbicide unless absolutely necessary

Bandages are plentiful, don't hesitate to use a few to keep party members up near ~75% health. Always prioritize grabbing food, tonics, bandages and first aid kits off vendors and vending machines
If you got Dan THE MAN he can work well as a healbot. Similarly you can do the same with Sam by using the skill learned from Myrmidon video game.
Other than that, don't hesitate to use your good guns to end fights quickly. As long as you've got enough ammo in reserve to last you for a boss fight, grab out the heavy weapons and let the cunts have it, by the time you're in a fight with them they've all violated the NAP

iirc once she mentions being worried about running out of blank cans for her advice you can ask her to take a step forward to check her back, doing so will lead you to the dude with the shop in the ground floor and allow her to refill herself. afterwards you should be able to invite her to your apartment
problem is that the dialog to ask her to check her back doesn't show up

Terminus is an earworm but I still think the rooftop and final boss tracks are the best
Exposure and The Gaze in particular, can't remember what the last track for the Exalted Four is called but it's nice too I guess

alright guys can i get of advice here?
I'm on normal mode and i tried fighting the rat champion the path leading up to him wasn't anything special. But holy shit he destroyed sam right away.

By the next day the rat that leads me to rat hell is gone so i gotta do it that same day. My question is how the fuck do i become dtrong enough for sam solo a creature that does like 100 dmg twice a turn?

im willing to restart the game and go as optimal as possible for sam to reach that power level

Nah i went does stairs when i had like nine days left to the first floor and i foudn this door with blue arrows on it and walked in. When i went in there was like a tent or something with a rat called mr skitters he told me to follow him to save ernest ( not sure who the fuck that is)and i was led into a dungeon i cant leave called rat hell. I was greeted by not only a giant ass swarm of rats but like several bosses in a row. On the last boss they told me to choose between fighting the rat beast which in all likely hood was just a normal ass boss but probably pretty strong. or the rat Champion I took on the rat champion you had to choose a party member and fight him solo i chose sam with the whole patch work set on with the overdrive skill buff and he still did like 90 dmg to me he did it again next turn and i was dead.
