Can't remember all the names of your base skills but don't forget Triplet the skill on X builds knockdown like parries. She starts countering your shield break flip thats on A very quickly so don't rely on it to much. I don't think she ever counter your Cross Slash on B and if its upgraded for the final hit you can use it to knock her down to buy space to heal. She's extremely easy once you know you can just make space to pop more healing. Also don't be afraid to just burn Tachy mode early for damage. Get her to an edge and just spam Tachy X or just spam Y then X if she backs out of it.

I find the charged triangle beta skill the best. People say the jab to poise break but spamming the charged attack(it gives you super armor while charging and both attacks stagger everything in the game) ends up killing the boss before the poise break even happens if you were to spam the jab one. I guess they wanted more moves without forcing them into awkward directional or dial a move combo layout but in fast paced action game it can really fuck up your inputs so you're forced to deliberately play slowly. One of the reasons why I don't bother with parry and dodge counters is because I can never get the timing and most of the time it just gets overridden by another move.

The way the true ending changes it's route is actually pretty substantial, not insofar as content but insofar as the meat of what actually takes place in the story

What am I even supposed to be doing? Why is combat so difficult? I passed Quiel(?) sparring test. I feel so weak and vulnerable in this game, it feels more difficult than Bloodborne which had speedy dodges, life steal and 20 vials and plenty of item tools to space enemies.

I can never heal in combat when enemies hit me with chains or get in my face and dash after me once I sip or switch to shooting mode. I use the 5% DMG reduction Gear and bonus SP EXP right now.

I got fucked by Corruptor like 15 times, the boss before Lily killed me like 10 times and Quiel killed me like 5 times. It takes my brain like a second to decipher the different color rings, then another second to do the input and it's usually too late by then. I upgraded the timing for dodges and parries and it feels the same.
