This is exactly how I felt about Homestuck the first time I saw it. Up until Homestuck, I'd always been a real, A-grade nerd, and I'd read a lot of books and comics and been obsessed with the standard Le Weird Autistic Kid™ video games like Pokemon and Sonic, and I thought that was as close to my heart as anything needed to be, but I still felt kinda incomplete. Homestuck was the first time I saw a nerd thing and went "Oh my god, that's IT".
