>>713373896I started listening to Double Toasted, from day 1. It was interesting to see it grow. But after a few years, I got burned out. The problem was that every show was poorly paced. Korey would try to make a joke about everything. But a lot of the times, jokes don't come quickly. So he would vamp by forcing a laugh, while thinking of a joke. It got so bad, that it was every 2 sentences out of someone's mouths, we had to wait for Korey to force a joke before moving on. Bloating the shows to twice the size they should have been.
People started complaining about the time bloat. And you know Korey doesn't take criticism well. So he didn't change. He can be like Low Tier God sometimes, in the way he deals with criticism. Korey is just more charming when he's salty, so he gets away with it.
After a while, I got sick of the stop-and-go pacing, and dropped the shows entirely.
