It's using FSR as back end for AMD. If you are on RDNA4 this is good enough because FSR4 is basically as good as DLSS4 and doesn't go as crazy on the sharpening filter. I think DLSS4 Transformer model by default over sharpens the image and it has a slight deepfried effect like FSR1 had which was terrible.

No you can't. You're using Optiscaler, all it does is hijack DLSS inputs and reroutes them to FSR.

Except the implementation is so bad that it seems like genuine sabotage to make the gap between dlss and fsr larger than it is. Even though it already is quite large.

Nvidia money hatted Cyberpunk so hard that even after many patches they never upgraded to fsr3.1 and fixed the fsr framegen implementation.

You're not even getting 100+ fps DLSS BALANCED with frame gen meaning you're probably frame genning up from 30-40fps. Those artifacts and input lag must be awful but that doesn't show up in benchmarks. This just tells me that AMD is still slow as fuck.

What's more important is the performance he's getting with DLSS Balanced + Frame Generation enabled.

Yeah, it's not perfect. I still don't get why AMD hasn't been tossing around more cash to bribe developers into backporting FSR4 into games that already support 3.1 or newer DLSS. Optiscaler is great, and FSR4 looks great in games where I can use it but at the end of the day it's still a workaround.
