Nowhere does the game make you understand that the enemy that spawns is a random enemy inside that actual room. For all we know it's an infinite spawn

Prefacing this by saying that I only played this game for 4 hours so far.
The main issue is that there is a lot of damage that is completely unavoidable if luck isn't on your side, that paired with no reliable way of healing and saves being a coinflip makes it way more frustrating than it needs to be.
Experience eases a lot of the frustration of course but at the end of the day it doesn't matter how much experience you have. RNG decides whether you get to keep playing or not

Mods and fan content crank it up to 11, surprise surprise. It’s not a porn game per se, but it definitely flirts with the line a few times.

However if you're smart you can avoid the cointoss altogether. People who complain about the cointoss for attacks and for searching items forget the game is a RPG/Survival Horror game and not a straight RPG. You have limited resources have to use them carefully to survive and you are punished heavily for messing up. There are like so many ways to become OP in fear and hunger. Like if you're doing all optional content than yeah it's hard. But also, the game is meant to be a hard game.
