What the fuck is "magic absorb" even? I beat Hell back in the day, but I didn't go too too far into Hell/Hell. Especially not after LoD released and all the later Uber patches.

There is an elemental damage type, besides fire, cold, poison, and lightning, which is 'magic', so that number is subtracted from the magic damage

the other anon is wrong any item which has an element absorb % first reduces that amount from the damage you take but also heals you for the very same percent so in short that number is actually doubled

thats just enigma which needs a jah ith ber +3sox armor, what if i tell you you can actually buy very early items with teleport charges as soon as act 2 hitting lvl 17 ( and those are not runewords but stuff from traders like drognan)
