Sonic
Why hasn't Sega made a Chao Garden standalone game?
It has all the right ingredients and pieces to make the perfect autism simulator on the go, yet they still refuse to acknowledge the existence of Chao.
Do they just not see the potential or has everyone that touched the original Chao Gardens all left the company?

Sega is allergic to good ideas.

They were serious about Hyenas at one point.

Chao fans are a loud minority.

I think it works better as an accessory to the main game. It adds another element to the levels in thinking about getting a specific chaos drive

Chao garden cannot exist without being paired with action stages/the main gameplay

the right move is to completely give up on sonic. stop buying the new games as they will all be garbage and move onto something new. they will never create a good video game ever again. do not even think about settling for some shitty chao garden mobile game or standalone game. it was good because it was was basically an entire game as a minigame for another game. that is the level of care and effort you should expect from sega, nothing less.

Why haven't you? Without resorting to argument of original IP lacking your nostalgia or Sonic branding.
Having little glorpies that go googoo gaga to take care of is in no way a Sega exclusive trademark concept

A standalone Chao game would be no different from any other virtual pet.
The whole point is that it paired greatly with replaying Sonic levels when you might've otherwise just set the game aside after beating it.
You dimb niggers just never understand.

I already gave up on 99% of the games industry. I can't look forward to anything except fucking Sonic.

Star Garden is the best looking Chao Garden clone i've seen so far, it also being a kirby air ride successor helps a lot too

Because SEGA is retarded, I don't know if it's a cultural barrier sort of thing. In the past everyone always said it's out of respect for the guy that created it.

If they make a chao garden game then yes, we need other gameplay elements to supplement that. Simply produce a mobile 2d sonic game, but with the Chao Garden as the main focus/story. It could take off if they make those old mini-games online as well, and your chao competes against other players chaos.

I was thinking about this earlier:

Aren't the Digimon World games basically Chao Garden as a full game?

You get creatures that you raise by training stats, and based on what stats you raise they evolve into different things, and you can do battles and challenges, but you don't control the creatures directly and can only somewhat influence them in combat

How would they even do it? MMO with phone connectivity? Tied to mainline games? Standalone paid titles?
