Try itch.io or Game Jams instead. Generally people are getting bored of games because they are a neat idea but with a ton of bloat because a game can't exist without being 80+ hours long. Playing the smaller proof of concept stuff will give you neat ideas without any of the bloat and often time it is straight up free or maybe a demo to a cheap 2 dollar game.
