Yes.

No. Best Yoshi game by a mile but as far as Mario goes? It has to compete with SMB3, World, RPG, PM64, SM64, etc, the list goes on.

It's a game that makes you think "Wow that was a great Super Nintendo game" but somehow you don't feel like replaying it like SMB3 or SMW.
Maybe it's the lack of power-ups or alternate paths, I mean the game has power-ups, but they're more like temporary weapons.

its not even better than SMW. feels like shit to play because you are constantly stopping your movement to aim eggs or catch your retarded crying worthless companion. there is no flow and no challenge besides anally checking every nook and cranny for completionist autism which isnt fucking platforming. the only thing great about it is the art style and music. in terms of actual gameplay and level design its absolutely raped and auramogged by even SMB1, forget about 3.
