You play the game normally until you get to Jupiter, which would probably take about 20 hours. Grind out Ember's pieces, which take less than an hour even if you're unlucky. Then you get the materials needed to craft the pieces which also won't take long at all. You make her parts, then In 12 hours, they'll be done whether or not you're logged in. Then you buy the blueprint from the market, and set her up to cook in the foundry, and in 72 hours, she'll be done and ready to use. At that point, you can just buy the heirloom skin which requires their premium currency Platinum, which can be earned in-game by trading with other players or just buying it.

Yeah, other than the game having a "real" intro now, the game shits a tutorial on your lap, lets you pick your starting weapons without really letting you think it out much beforehand, and then chucks you in the deep end blind until a few days later (for most players) and they start doing actual story quests. The junctions kinda help lure the new players into doing new things and going to new places to unlock new things to do, but it's kind of a big ask to just dump newbies on Earth and hope they explore and get hooked.

DE's working on upgrading the game's first boss and some of the earlier content, like maybe giving Rhino to players outright or making him the "tutorial frame" that you build way faster than any other frame just so people can experiment if they turn out to not like the frame they started with.
