The MC is a Lucario (surprise) and at a given point they devolve into a Riolu. Weird since it evolves via friendship, but whatever.

The bad news is that it hasn't been updated in over two years. The developer pretty much blocked off their Twitter (the only place where they had any further dev footage afterwards) for a fairly spartan Bluesky with nothing of note, so it's more or less abandonware. It's still a surprisingly decent approximation mechanically and you get a bit of customization despite essentially having only one pre-made character.

There's some novelty at least but it's not like it'll capture the best of PMD. Mind that any and all labeled instances of 'TF' is really just TG in this game. Though the dev was oddly considerate with some extended scenes under certain conditions. Is it worth hunting them all, probably not.
