Not interested in gacha but I'm looking for more citykino after Library of Ruina so I'm thinking of taking the plunge on Lobotomy Corporation. Is it worth it or is it too much cbt?

I think it's worth it. When the cbt arrives it's pretty much the end game aside from little surprises you get along the way. The story is good and the sense of discovery is great if you already like abnormalities. I personally think Library of Ruina had similar moments in difficulty so I think you can endure whatever LoboCorp throws at you.

lobotomy corp is very grindy, very artifical difficulty and lastly EXTREMELY buggy, VRAM leaks up the wazoo and no save points, automatic ones are far in between.

It's sad this series just became gacha. I feel like if Limbus were any other genre I'd be open to it after how much I liked the first two games, but gacha is the most unappealing thing a game could possibly be to me.

I think that El director actually wants to develop a spin off game at least, but there are 4 things that prevent him from doing that

Heeey. I actually started playing Lobotomy Corp recently. What a fucking retarded ass game, does the game need to be as inconvenient as possible? Though, paradoxically, the game was really fun and scratched an itch I didn't know I had. I stopped right before day 46 because apparently I fucked up since I couldn't do every single core supression and apparenly I need to restart the whole game for a good ending. Fuck that shit.

I had very high stressful days, that I completed in a complete fucked up lobo lab setting with every possible fucked up combo of aboration possible.
Only to get game crash on the day end, while watching cutscenes because of VRAM leaks.
After like 7 times redoing the day and loosing all my progress, I just quit the game then and there.
it was absolutely unacceptable and I would literally beat the shit out of the dev for creating such a piece of shit situation for another human being to experience.

Lobotomy is only frustrating when you don't know what your abnormalities do and sooner or later, you'll know what abnormalites you can or can't handle. Ruina was more frustrating for me solely because I was constantly low rolling which resulted in a librarian dying

Happened to me once in one of the core supressions where you're forced to get through of the midnight ordeals. I had a hour of progress into the day, got the easiest midnight out of them all, then the game just crashed my entire PC for whatever reason. Never wanted to punch through my monitor that hard before.
