I actually had my eyes opened to the world of wrestling after watching "The Wrestler". A lot of these dudes do it when they're younger thinking it's cool. Realize about a decade in that they've developed no actual skills feel trapped, need to keep wrestling and destroying their bodies in the process, some become addicted to the glory or feel like it's all they really have left in life, etc. Really good movie.
