>fnaf
kill yourself underage
The last fnaf was pizzeria simulator.
>>713428267 (OP)Whats the name of the guy who made the mimic? And was it easy to do?
>>713428367People who were in highschool when FNAF came out originally are old enough to be posting here, newfag.
>>713428594and you are still underage or mentally 5 years old if you like this shit franchise made for 5 years old with the shittiest designs ever
>>713428267 (OP)Yes, it is good. It is like a watered down Alien Isolation with gameplay like Ruin. Much better than SB (which isn't saying much, but it shows Steel Wool is improving).
The only super cruddy part is the game has a potential softlock late into the story, but it sounds like they are patching a fix for that soon.
my name is the fucking mimic oh yeah
I found the welcome show with all the goofy OC characters to be genuinely charming and not actually spooky at all.
>>713428367Fnaf 1 was over 10 years ago
>>713429593I think it was meant to be, like "What could have been" if Edwin wasn't such a criminal autist
>>713428594I was in highschool when the first game came out and now Iām almost 30 years old.
I thought it was okay. Its really generous with saves which is good because I kept crashing like crazy despite having a pretty good pc, also keyboard and mouse is torture because of a generator winding minigame
The workshop with all the hanging suits, this
>>713429593 and the pirate show were kino. I don't really care for mimic or AI but it had my girl in it
>>713428267 (OP)I'm trying to be as objective as I can
Pros:
>coherent storytelling>costume and cutboard designs truly match with old disneyland attractions >great MC, he's not always yapping like previous shota>White Tiger tunnel is the highlight of the gameCons
>lacks of minigame variety, Its either pipe puzzle or searching hidden numbers for the entire game>enemy AIs can be annoying sometimes, especially with Chica and Cupcake area>sounding is really bad. you could have a total silent area followed by really really loud jumpscare in the next second >did I mention sounding? mimic is really fucking loud and talking too much>repetitive puzzles, especially Big Top section>>713429593love this section, reminds me of my childhood
>>713429987Having a PC at all is your problem.
What do the mailboxes do? I just run up to them, turnt he key and it say no mail
I still think the tone of the new 3D games is way too clean and cartoony, but I like the new death screen where there's this horrible grimey bubbly effect
>>713430236Lmao same. Are they save stations or something?
>>713429593The intro and goodbye sections were some of my favorite parts. It is nice when you see the actual characters doing what they were meant to do.
>>713430069Completely agree with everything you said. The sound design needed work, especially in the last section of the game. (I know its a different studio, but) Into the Pit had phenomenal sound design in comparison. I hope they at least fix that going forward if they do another run and hide game.
>>713430289Looks like burning film to me
>>713430236You are collecting the digital mail from the mail box. After you do so, it says 'no mail' to show its done. They never refill so once you collect one and save, then its empty for the rest of the game. You can see the mail in the LOG section when you go onto the HELPER computer terminal.
>>713428708You sound like Twitter contrarian who jerks off to loli art.
>>713428367In a couple of months someone who was in kindergarten when Fnaf 1 came out will be old enough to post here
>>713429593It made me think that this Edwin guy should hire a different character designer because some, if not most, of those things would make children cry. So yes, I was charmed.
>>713429593I laughed my ass off when I got Admin level permissions and went back to Mr Helpful only to have him continue the goofy hand movements while Edwin's serious backstory audiolog was going on.
What did Scott mean by this
>>713433310who is this hippo character I keep seeing? I never played any of the games past 4 (which I never ended up finishing because I couldn't under stand how the mechanics worked at the time)
>>713430069This sounds like a resident evil game
>>713433462https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cjf_kXLbaQk
>>713433462joke character in ultimate custom night who rambles on for unskippable minutes whenever he kills you
>>713433462He is from Pizzeria Simulator. In that game, you get to buy various tier of animatronics for your franchise. The first tier is literal garbage, and the second tier some bootlegs of the FNAF cast, including Mr Hippo. They also appear in Ultimate Custom night. In that game, getting killed by a character gives you bit of monolog from them. Mr Hippo's monologs are long and tangential stories.

>>713428267 (OP)scott shouldve ended the fnaf series after fnaf 4
the whole scifi plot is so stupid
Oh yeah, this also happened. And nobody cared lmao.
>>713429593Makes me wish we could have seen MCM in its heyday.
>>713434006Elliot's game isn't even out yet
>>713434006Sorry posted the wrong image
>>713433618Don't forget you get the unskippable dialogue again if you exit the game during his stories
>>713428267 (OP)> Monster whose gimmick is the ability to wear any costume and behave differently depending on what identity it has assumed> It is hunting the player through a facility filled to the brim with different costumes.> Outside of scripted events, all it ever does is walk in a loop within a designated areaWASTED.
POTENTIAL.
How sick would it be if the mimic dynamically stalked the player, sprinting around when it thinks the player cannot see it and hiding inside of stationary costumes before springing into action when the player draws too close.
Imagine the paranoia of seeing a flash a motion between warehouse shelves, or self-doubt upon finding costumes that you could have sworn were posed differently earlier, or spotting an animatronic's head slowly tracking you out of the corner of your eye?
>>713434634Sorry anon, that requires actually talented developers despite the fact that the game uses unreal 4 and has one of the most powerful and easy ai foundations where you can make a alien: isolation tier ai in a matter of days if you know what you are doing. (most fail this step)
>>713435000>>713434634Oh yeah, not to mention that unreal's EQT is also built-in where you actually can just dynamically find objects/positions that would be considered "corner of your eye"
This would have been VERY easy to do if they wanted to or had someone familiar with making game ai.
>>713435000>>713435165Look kids, it's all about building a brand that kids worship and buy everything from said brand.
You think we're in the business to make kino vidya?
Grow up.
>>713435998Isn't FNAF slowed down a lot? its still alive but how well did SOTM sell? It seems like it's just clinging on by merchandising.
>>713434634They need to dump Steel Wool -a bunch of literal who VR game devs- and get some actual triple A devs on this shit. It's one of the biggest IPs in the world
>>713434634>>713435000>>713435165>>713435998>today /v/ learned that MASCOT horror meant to sell merchandisesYou don't need a good gameplay if you have big branding. Scott could've made a literal slop of a game, slapped "Five Nights at Freddy's" and everyone would clap their hands
Prestige spring Lock suit in DND
>Super detailed Gorey model
>He donned the headpiece, tormented by the horrors of his past
Pls scott just give us Afton family drama
That's like the old VHS YouTube videos
>>713440337oh yeah he's the fucking moon man
Very enjoyable game. I liked it a lot and am awaiting VR support before I do another playthrough.
>>713428267 (OP)Surprisingly decent for an Alien Isolation clone
>>713430236Youre downloading the mail to read on the computer. Where do you think the logs came from?
>>713433618The best part is if you turn the game off itll keep going next tome you turn it on
>>713434634I was surprised that for a enemy who's whole gimmick is hiding in ain sight, there's one area total where he does that
Rest of the time he's just wandering in circles
>>713440337Bunch of theories, most likely is its just a worker who died down there and possessed the suit - ironically the only possesed thing in the whole game
Literally no one played this
No one above the age of 16 cares about Fnaf games not made by Cawthon
>>713428267 (OP)it was alright
it's not really a fnaf game though, the most fnaf thing you could say about it is the springsuits
>>713444080M1 works because it's possessed by real Fiona.
M2 is trash because it's just a soulless robot.
That's why Edwin didn't know why it worked the 1st time and why he can't replicate it
>>713445458White Tiger is blatantly a ghost, not the Mimic. It can teleport. The Mimic might have superhuman strength and ridiculous resilience and agility but it still can't teleport.
>>713445356But F10n4 is outwardly evil and likely killed David. Doesnt sound like Fiona.
>>713428594Yes, and the average Fnaf fan age is still middle schooler or younger, regardless.
honestly it felt like a lower budget alien isolation. also the same complaints as the other anons ITT.
I wish the Mimic worked more like the xenomorph...
I'd like to see a game structured like SL but with SOTM production value. Just 5 nights, different wings of the facility every night, fake techinician bullshit, buttons, levels, panels, the whole shebang, and no generic crouch-sneaking around places

At the end of the day, he gets the last laugh.
>>713428367I was 14 when the first one came out
>>713431969Theres actually a video I watched who said he was 7 when the first game came out and was 18 when he made the video
MY NAME IS ANON. I MADE THE SHITPOST.
