How sick would it be if the mimic dynamically stalked the player, sprinting around when it thinks the player cannot see it and hiding inside of stationary costumes before springing into action when the player draws too close.
Imagine the paranoia of seeing a flash a motion between warehouse shelves, or self-doubt upon finding costumes that you could have sworn were posed differently earlier, or spotting an animatronic's head slowly tracking you out of the corner of your eye?
