TLJ got sued for real money transactions and any community that linked with it is going to get dragged in.
Out of precaution, Secrets shut the server down, and will only put it back up with Daybreak's express permission.
So, pretty unlikely.

Depends on what you define as help. The rule of thumb for P99 has always been people will be generally helpful unless it's within the realm of raids or contesting camps.

It is far beyond me why some people want to replicate the TRUE everquest experience when that game had absolutely zero respect for a human being's time.

There's a lot of things I miss about playing EQ 25 years ago. I absolutely do not miss racing for raid targets or having to fight for camps.
Even respawning with gear is a big one in the current game. I don't miss wiping balls deep in Howling Stones at 3 AM and having to do a corpse run with our backup gear. This was a common enough scenario that my friends and I did keep a spare set of equipment in the bank.
