For 30 bucks I'd say it's worth it if you're into the whole "travelling band of adventurers who walk a lot" thing, which DD2 does pretty well. I have explored every single nook and cranny of Battahl, Vermund and whatnot and collected all tokens.
Now if you expect anything from the story, then just stay away, it's not worth a single dollar.

I'd rather explore DS2 than 3. But we're talking about DD2 here. And the exploration and open world is quite good just a little more diversity in the landscape features and it would've been perfect. Still remember the first time I wandered into the Elves forest.

I am recently playing through it again. I liked it then and I liked it now. Its one of the only RPG's I can actually stomach outside turn-based shit because the combat is so good. I tried playing shit like CRPGs and I just can't get into it.

Yes, it's a good game that's weirdly over-hated by some people. It was rushed out the door and I do have some issues with certain things but it's still a solid action adventure RPG overall. I'm one of the original Dragons Dogma fans as well, I played the first one on PS3, complete with the "flying into free" intro.
