The only reason to have 3 fans there is if you have a radiator.

im not an airflow expert but cases with solid front panels scare me. ive heard people with more knowledge than me explain why it doesnt matter if the rest of the case's airflow is good but it just seems like thats missing out on a lot of air intake to me. my case has mesh in the front and 2 fans

Why do some people get so angry seeing other people's PC have RGB lights? Like just let people configure their PCs how they want to, bro. Building your own PC is all about customization and making it personal to you. Cringe as fuck behavior
>>713491436Have this one. I just like how plain it is. 99% of other cases have weird bevels or grills or half-windows or big logo or weird asymmetry or gay lights or SOME shit that puts me off. But the front panel and tinted window also give it just a little flair. Real easy to clean filter too. First time I've personally got a case that had filters. I'm sure a lot of cases have those now but it should be a standard for all. Before I had to open my PCs and use compressed air which only got like half the dust.
I don't need much on my main.
Should get around to making a server.
>>713497079I don't care what other people do but when the market for RGB is so huge it can sometimes make it hard to find shit without it. Most people would rather trends move towards their own preferences.

>>713484679 (OP)Okinos Aqua 3. I got it on sale so whatever. There are better cases for the price point but this one is just fine, although I do think the airflow leaves much to be desired.
>>713494485>did zero cable management because it doesn't matterIt helps clear obstructions from airflow, but you have so much empty space in modern fishtank cases that it indeed doesn't make much of a difference.
Back circa 2009 I actually managed to get people asking me to build PCs for them because they saw how my PC case was so organized that they couldn't even see any cables inside. I used an Antec P183, with a motherboard with 90 degree SATA ports so they all curved behind the tray into the lower chamber, plus I found a gap in the floppy compartment where you could route all the front panel cables so none of those could be seen either.
Wasn't as clean as modern ricer builds with all the sleeved cable shit, but it was insanely clean by 2000s standards.

>>713497079Wouldn't mind so much if they weren't such a hassle to turn off and weren't forced onto majority of pc cases now.
BIOS setting? Doesn't exist. Every rgb light manufacturer has their own proprietary software to change the lights. Sometimes doesn't even save when computer resets. For some reason these programs need to install a hundred drivers and try to get you to install a "hub". Sometimes these software aren't linux compatible. No you can't just disconnect the pin for lights because it's merged with the fan. And minor complaint but since it's a program controlling the lights, it doesn't immediately activate until OS is booted up so you always get flashbanged with the brightest gay parade when turning on your PC.

>>713493703They swapped the SATA ports with M.2 slots, thing is unless your board is the high end one you are usually cucked out with one M.2 slot out of the 4-5 slots available and that M.2s only reach 8TB max but they're stupidly expensive
Waiting for the Thorzone Tetra SFF case
This good boy who's been with me since my first build. I will keep it until the day I inevitably drop it while drunk
I don't have a case, it's just sitting on top of the box the motherboard came in.
I was always apprehensive about water cooling, but I hear these are pretty much foolproof. Is there a reason not to get one aside from the extra space they take up and the cost?
>>713499497only really necessary if you're going for big overclocks or constant high workloads like video rendering. the aluminum blocks of old will do just fine for vidya/casual use.
>>713484679 (OP)This bad boy. Kindof expensive, but super easy to work with. I have entirely Noctua fans in it (the classic brown and cream colored) and they actually sortof fit with the brown trim. I only wish it had a slot for an internal disc drive, but I haven't needed to use a blu-ray drive yet. i just want one on principle.
>>713488125>go to /g/>its all AIsloppalol

I put the fan that came with it to its top while adding 3 2000rpm arctic fans while turning them up to max

There arenโt that many real choices, it's an illusion
>>713499497I still don't completely trust them. My bigass block of metal heatsink will outlive me.

I originally was going to get the 4000D but it went out of stock the day I went to order it
>>713488941Yeah everyone and their mother wanted tempered glass to show off their RGB shit
>>713501283i like the glass panels because it lets me see the insides
makes it easier to know when to start cleaning, or if there's a problem especially with the error leds
the only light i have on is one of the motherboard tho, just so I know the thing is on
Thoughts on the Meshify 3? I'm currently using the Meshify C but it's not big enough for the longer cards.
>>713498490Mine has 3 M.2 slots, and I literally just went with whatever PC part picker automatically selected based on my other components.
You can also get a PCI card for more M2 slots.

>>713485415>>713487082>>713487803I have this too and I don't get the airflow complaints. Never had cooling problems with it and I didn't add any extra fans or anything to it.

>>713485510Cable management and dusting seem like it'd be an absolute bitch on one of these
>>713492852I have that thing and it's basically a non issue.
It's an allright case in all regards but weight. Should really have gone for something else since I went no blinkies for all parts I could so those heavy ass glass fronts just let you look on an aio lcd showing temps since I got no 420mm one without one. But in terms of ease of built it's one of the best ones I had... But take that with a grain of salt since I usually went over budget and got the cheapest case possible that needed a lovely touch up with an anglegrinder.
>>713489285I have this; happy with it, but I don't understand the logic of a removable magnetic mesh on the top to filter exhaust?! and then the front intake panel that actually gets dusty is a pain to remove and clean..
I also wish it would acommodate a shift PSU, but not enough to complain. My Asus TUF z790 Pro Wifi mobo back sheath is too large that my arctic freezer III 360 aio wont fit without having a slim 120 as the top front fan, and that is obnoxious, but I always felt that fan placement was always the least effective in case. I know nothing.
>>713489285I think I have this, at least it looks identical with all the lights and shit and it was cheap. The bottom space was overly tight to fit my wires through so I cut a part of it off with metal scissors. Other than that it's a fine case, had it for a few years now.
>>713484679 (OP)The cheapest $30 MSI one. I remove the side panel and have my AC blow on it for better cooling in the summer.
>>713484679 (OP)4000d. I put my case beneath the table so I don't care much about how it look like. I just need it to cool off my CPU and GPU effectively.

>>713507868>montech 95 kingI just bought one of these literally yesterday, the 'pro' version, for a build im doing soon. The curved glass looks awesome
however I realized as I bought it, that the PSU i bought is apparently 20 mm too long for this case... Curious if it's going to just be a tight fit for the cables, or if it will physically be impossible to fit in the case at all (more likely i think).
Corsair 3500x. So easy with the sliding panels and cable tie holes
It's big, it's heavy, it's also one of the few cases that can handle 4+ HDDs and a 420mm cooler at the same time. It can also exclusively use 140mm fans which is nice. My only regret is not buying a e-atx mobo to go with it since there's a lot of dead space between the front panel and the motherboard.
