SalesChads what's your cap?
>>713486224 (OP)30 or 40 if it really looks good
i dint worry as ,much abt sales since i save a fuck load of money by pirating most shit
I've never bought a game that cost more than $50 including during sales
It depends on the game honestly.
I only buy games I really want to support like indies and AAs. I don't spend shit for AAA unless it's *really* good and has online features that I want to play, which are both extremely rare as I usually just buy them on sale later on
80 but those are dollarydoos so the value is offset by my currency being worthless.
40 if it's a game I've waited for, usually 5-20. I've had my steam account for 19 years, never paid more than 40-50 for a game
65 bucks. Thats how much old NES/SNES games cost back in the 1990s.
Haven't paid that much for a game in a long time, however. Yay Humble Bundle
>>713486224 (OP)I don't have a cap, but my minimum is $100.
>>713486224 (OP)0
game developers do not deserve to be paid
>>713486224 (OP)$10 but only if it's a REALLY good game and also has online features
>>713486224 (OP)My hard cap is $60. It mostly depends on the type of game though.
$40
If you think your game is worth anywhere near that, and you actually are AAA, your game is still a bloated piece of shit and needs to reduce its scope.
>>713486224 (OP)$40 physical, $20 digital
$25-40. I have only ever paid the full $60/70 price for brands I know I will get my money's worth out of in Kingdom Hearts and Yakuza, and a few select Nintendo titles because they refuse to ever go on sale more than like $10-15. Anything more than $40 is a ripoff and a joke for basically all games.
Games under $100 aren't worth it. Like with a Chinese Rolex knockoff, you know it's cheap fake shit.
Fighting game - any price because the online experience is vastly different past the initial few months with dwindling playerbase
Game where I know has a lot of value like an RE game - also full price
everything else is a hard lowest on steamdb kind of purchase, and an actual sale not 27% off or some shit
