This is all conjecture but either way it doesn't look good for Thor. If 1) he truly doesn't understand it, it's another rep hi to his already garbage rep which his ego cannot actually take ; or 2) he actively is against games being played beyond the publishers control since it makes it so people cannot play the publishers new game if they would release one, or in other words, it's less money for publishers in whatever potential future they think of. The latter I believe is more Thor's position as I would think he actually benefits more from games sunsetting to be never be played again or if people want to play it, ask for a new one to be made.
