I miss being able to talk about this game on /v/. We had so many good story discussions, build suggestions, morality debates, character evaluations and parry/dodge timing tips and other fun gameplay chats.
Probably one of the few times I've seen this board be used as intended. It's nice to see that it CAN happen if the game's good enough.

The writing in this game was terrible.

These "people" can't be reasoned with. They're paid to monitor for threads about potentially competing companies, and to proceed to shit on them and their games to make sure they can kill word of mouth. The only difference is that every now and then their efforts don't work thanks to them coming in late, failing to form narratives that hook or not managing to build proper arguments as to WHY the game they 'hate' is bad. And this happens to be one of those games.

Paid online "infiltrators" are completely confirmed at this point. The companies that provide this service don't even hide it anymore.
It's just a very very cheap way for large, 1000+ employee companies, to keep potential future competition from rising up.
Think about it, if you as a massive gaming company can pay 0.00000001% of your income a day to a third-world shithole company that will have 2-3 minorities shit up any thread they see that meets certain criteria around the clock 24/7, wouldn't you?
Isn't a cost THAT tiny worth it if you can shit on companies/games that may one day challenge your throne?
