Quit playing games for a month or two. However long you feel you need.
Then you go back and play one game to completion.
If, at any point, you feel that the game is a chore, you drop it and wait a week before choosing a new game.
The key point is that this has to feel like it's a chore, not that you're just distracted.
Your tastes have changed since you bought some steam games most likely so there's no shame in just side-lining it for something more suited for you.

I use trophies.
For the longest time I would mostly stick to the same games until I found something that really grabbed me. This meant I would never be able to progress through my backlog.
Some time back, I decided to broaden my horizons and started focusing on trophy hunting for games that looked interesting. Since then I've been clearing games at a pretty steady rate.
