why would you want a remake from today's ubisoft

We don't need a remake, there is a new fanpatch that restores all the xbox lighting on the PC version and adds some new QoL options like a whistle button.

It's crazy how good the gimped PC version looked for its time (granted we could also run it higher rez than 480p) even without those features. Been awhile since I played, you used to only be able to whistle when snug up against a wall?

The first SC had no whistling, you had to throw bottles and cans. That was only added in the sequels.
