Why do devs gimp their game by not having music used during the cutscenes and have drab cacophenous boss themes? Dark Souls just did it due to it being cheap. But they have some stellar record tracks they could've actually used.

Souls boss fights (particularly in LoP) have become formulaic and it's just a given that they need some generic up beat orchestral music for the fights to be "epic". It's a shame because bosses like Gwyn or Fool's Idol are memorable because of the interesting music despite the actual fight not being very noteworthy.

Yeah I can hear some hints of brilliance in Arlecchino's which one would expect, the rest are rather uncompelling.
