Xbox as dedicated hardware made by Microsoft is dead. They are just putting their brand name on other manufacturer's devices like Meta Quest or the ROG Ally. Consoles will just be PlayStation and Nintendo and Microsoft will solely focus on Windows.

Microsoft's downsizing because xbox is in its death throes and they're no longer expanding its development. They're restructuring xbox division for smaller scale development.

I don't hate them and have nothing against them in a vacuum but due to the way they behave and ruin every media franchise I'm sure not to ever lift a finger to help them in any way. I have no idea why they do it, 90% of the scorn they get from people these days is due to how they behave not what they are. It's not like people outright despise them, it's more like apathy.
