There's a lot of fluff thing that could be added as well such as:

The worst part is that raising the level cap is so pointless right now. There's next to no plot being set up so they have to cook shit up out of thin air, not that there was any worthwhile plot to begin with, and we defeated the "big bad" with very little acclaim afterwards, as if they ran out the story budget. There's nothing actually being interesting enough to demand we go past OG PSO2's level cap and we can go to level 105 right now for.. no particularly good reason but content filler alongside side-grading old items.
If levels are just content filler, then you've fucked up so tremendously that you should go back to the drawing board.

NGS was the worst thing to happen to this game, and that's INCLUDING taking 10 years before finally releasing it officially in the west.

But at least that one year of pure PSO2 and getting all the expansions through 6.0 was a fun time.

Basically in PSO2 you got materials together, crafted a skill ring and could equip two at a time, run content and they get XP, then you get them enhanced to the next level with a cap of 20. They did a lot of stuff like make Ranger Blight Bullets hit a locked-on target regardless of body obstructions, let Gunners do forward Stylish Rolls (yes you had to wear an item to do that), slow down your dodge roll so you'd have more i-frames, increase certain weapon or circumstantial damages, etc. Some were useful, some were useless, but just more excess grind to slap on top.

Most of the weapon actions aren't even dodge counters, just parry counters. It's silly how nearly everything but very, very few boss attacks are dodge/blockable so most of these fights boil down to standing in place, spamming attacks, and timing the WA/dash.

I put 100 hours into NGS and I feel like I got scammed out of my time. Literally nothing to do except run in a circle grinding the same boring missions. No content added since launch except for tranny bullshit no one cares about like housing or more outfits. Why does this piece of shit even exist?

I tried to play New Genesis (the JP version, not the soulless censored western slop version) last year and I got to the third zone (the snow area) and realized that the story was somehow still about sad girls being sad about their dead parents for the third subplot in a row and I noped right the fuck out of there.

It felt like their goal was to remove all the anime tropes from OG PSO2 to make the game appeal more to a western audience and they just ripped all the life out with it.

Japanese devs are the type to ride out a sinking ship to the end than risk rocking the boat. NGS is like that. PSO2 was like that from 2016 onward. PSU was like that. Sega is very good at stretching out a declining game far beyond what should be expected of it.
Besides that, they probably have trouble finding new devs for console/PC live service projects. Mobile gaming dominates the scene like it does everywhere else in Asia.
