Epoch releases in a month and I've already spent 4 years on Turtle, I think I've done enough there.
Epoch is going to be worse in quite a bit of ways, especially community quality (FRESHers are a LOT worse than chinks), but at least it isn't going to be a hugbox.

Same goes for the [Programmer Socks] and anime girl model. The socks are a super rare event only transmog item, and I've never seen that anime avatar or Dev for that matter, ever in 4 years, so it can't be THAT big of an issue. Turtle has much bigger issues than ooc transmog and 'probably removed at this point' models.

WoW has the same issue as maplestory
>game expects you to run through the same exact campaign with multiple characters who's difference are the starting town and some mounts
Even Mabinogi understood this and dropped the pretense, letting you use your alts as extra bank storage
If there was a wow server which allowed me to learn everything on my own, like play as every class in tandem and get everything if I wanted without race/faction restriction on a single character then I wouldn't mind being stuck playing every single race/faction quest on top of the rest of the game
