>>713534137I've always said this. Connectivity and "post launch support" was the exception rather than the rule in 6th gen. I was the only person I knew that had my PS2 online and Timesplitters Future Perfect and Resident Evil Outbreak and whatnot function just fine without it and still feel like complete games.
I still use my Xbox 360 frequently as well, but I don't know what's going to happen once the servers are shut down. I'm already locked out of buying some DLCs I want (missed one for Soul Calibur V). These are permanently gone for all subsequent players. To say nothing of full games that cannot be bought anymore. Every game had a few updates, imagine being stuck with the launch version forever.
It is a vastly different style of "ownership" and development philosophy etc.
