It better be or all this commitment I've made to the Switch 2 is going to be for nothing since I could have just played this on the Switch if it was going to be slapdash disappointment...

It looks like a very forgettable sequel that spent a lot of time in dev hell because nobody could come up with new interesting ideas

It'll come out, some people will talk about it for a couple of days (if that), and then it'll fade away.

Itll be a solid 7 that isnt worth the wait, but not a terrible game

It'll be the best metroid game since prime 2

That's not saying much to be honest, but at least it'll tone down with the linearity and no dumb chase sequences

It's been a quiet series.

Probably not but ill enjoy it and love it anyway.

this is the vibe its giving off to me and I loved the old Metroid Prime games. It just comes across as very meh. It probably wont be awful or anything but I expect it will be fairly boring and average.

Depends entirely how just how involved the Psychic powers are in the gameplay. If they amount to nothing more then key and lock solutions and have little applications in combat or movement, then they will feel like shit.

They don't want to overshadow their other games that are coming out, since Prime 4 has been an anticipated release for a while. I'm sure they don't expect it to kill DK's sales, but you don't want to take away from the release, especially when it is a series grand return. Once DK is out, then expect to start hearing about Prime 4.
